Back injuries: Disk injuries like Intervertebral, cervical, thoracic, mid-back, lower back, and other disk injuries may also occur in car accidents. Compression fractures may result in permanent disability. Spinal injuries include the following symptoms: arm and leg weakness, paralysis, breathing problems, numbness or lost bladder or bowel control. Removal of spinal disk or disk material might be required to treat these ailments. Internal Organs: Internal injuries from a car accident can occur to organs like intestines, kidneys, liver, lungs, the spleen or the heart. Broken ribs may hurt your internal organs. Different types of tests are conducted for different injuries. Extensive hospitalization and surgical procedures are required to heal these injuries. Upper limbs: If you've hurt your hands, arms, wrists or fingers in a car accident, you are suffering from an upper limb injury. Such injuries usually require surgery along with medication. Physiotherapy is also required to rehabilitate. Lower Limbs: Hips, legs, knees, heels and ankles injuries are considered part of this group.
